How to do it

  1. Lie on your side with your elbow under your shoulder and legs stacked.
  2. Lift your hips so your body forms a straight line.
  3. Keep your top hip slightly forward and your neck neutral.
  4. Hold, then switch sides.

Coaching tips

  • Easier: bend your knees and keep them on the floor.
  • Hold 15–30 seconds per side.

Common mistakes

  • Hips dropping toward the floor.
  • Rolling the chest toward the floor.
